Online Marketing Specialist (M/F)

Your talent and qualities flourish best in a start-up environment. Your goal is to gradually achieve superior customer engagement and interaction, website traffic and revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of online marketing. You should have a solid understanding of website optimization and user experience, how social media channels work, and how to optimize content to engage the audience. You will report to the Marketing Manager of DIGON GmbH. The role is based in Friedrichshafen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize and execute the social media strategy through research, platform determination, benchmarking, and audience identification and expand and accelerate new social networks across the globe, with a focus on Asia
  • Create social media calendars, manage daily social media content (generate, edit, publish, and share text, images, video, or html) and moderate all user-generated social media content
  • Build, operate, analyze, and optimize social media advertising campaigns to increase the reach and traffic on bicle.com
  • Capture and analyse the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and than act on it to continuously improve social media activities
  • Identify website improvements using website statistics/metrics, insights and best practices to improve and optimize Bicle’s website performance, usability, and conversion
  • Initiate and coordinate website (product) improvements and collaborate with product development to optimize user experience
  • Manage the content (generate, edit, publish, and share text, images, videos, or html) in our own social area, MyBicle, and moderate all user-generated content in this area
  • Actively interact with the MyBicle members in order to increase the activity in the Bicle community
  • Collaborate with other departments (content creation, marketing, sales, product development) to manage Bicle’s reputation, identify key industry players, and coordinate actions

Requirements

  • Passionate and eager about winning and developing the Bicle business on a global scale
  • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational abilities
  • Fluent in English
  • Creative and structured thinker
  • Minimum of 3 years proven work experience in online marketing, digital media, or social media
  • Educated online marketing, marketing communications, or new media
  • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major online marketing channels
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills
  • Demonstrable social networking experience with social media advertising campaigns and analytics
  • Willingness to travel, visiting international trade shows and customers
