Online marketing specialist (M/F)

Your talent and qualities flourish best in a start-up environment. Your goal is to gradually achieve superior customer engagement and intimacy, website traffic and revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of online marketing. You should have a solid understanding of website and newsletter optimization, how social media channels work and how to optimize content, so that it is engaging the audience. You will report to the Marketing Manager of DIGON GmhH. Place of employment is Friedrichshafen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. 

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a social media strategy through research, platform determination, benchmarking and audience identifcation and expand and accelerate new social networks across the globe, with focus on Asia
  • Create social media calendars, manage the daily social media content (generate, edit, publish and share text, images, video or html) and moderate all user-generated social media content
  • Build, operate, analyse and optimize social media advertising campaigns
  • Capture and analyse the appropriate social data / metrics, insights and best practices, and than act on it to continuously improve social media activities
  • Manage the content (generate, edit, publish and share text, images, videos or html) in our own social area: MyBicle. And moderate all user-generated content in this area
  • Actively interact with the MyBicle members in order to increase the activity in the Bicle community
  • Improve Bicle’s website performance and optimize website conversion using website statistics / metrics, insights and best practices
  • Coordinate website improvements and collaborate with product development to optimize customer experience
  • Enhance Email Marketing strategy, create email newsletter calendars and operate the weekly newsletter to increase website traffic
  • Capture and analyse the appropriate newsletter data / metrics, insights and best practices, and than act on it to continuously improve newsletter performance
  • Collaborate with other departments (Content creation, Marketing, Sales, Product Development) to manage Bicle’s reputation, identify the industry’s key players and coordinate actions

Requirements

  • Passionate and eager about winning and developing the Bicle business on a global scale
  • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented, with good multitasking and organizational ability
  • Fluency in English
  • Creative and structured thinker
  • Proven working experience, minimum of 3 years, in online marketing, digital media specialist or social media
  • Educated in the field of online marketing, marketing communications or New Media
  • Knowledge of online marketing and good under-standing of major online marketing channels
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrable social networking experience, with social media advertising campaigns and analytics
  • Willingness to travel, visiting international trade shows and customers
